I'm having trouble trying to update my adobe reader.
Every time I try, I get this:
Update Failed
ERROR 1402
Could not open key
Hkey_Local_Machine\Software\Microsoft\
Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\OptionalComponent\Mail.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I'm running Windows XP Professional.

I also get,when in safe mode:
This SCREEN saver requires Adobe Flash Player for internet explorer.
In my control panel its there, I thought I had it already.
JohnYou tried all the suggestions?Will not let me uninstall Adobe Reader with the Error 1402.Try using revo uninstaller (http://www.revouninstaller.com/)I installed revo uninstaller, still would not uninstall.

I tried all except for (#1 advance.)
Not SURE about the REGISTRY part.
