Answer» On window media player, every time i try playing SONGS,it always asks to download LICENSE first,
Example: A license is required to play this file
The file you are trying to play was ripped (copied) from an audio CD.
During the ripping process, the file was "protected." This limits the number of computers on which the file can be played.
To play the file on this computer, you must download a license (a process known as "license migration"). A license acts an electronic key that allows you to "unlock" a protected file and play it.
and says: Error: your Netscape browser does not have "Microsoft® Windows Media Services" plug-ins installed.
To download a license for this file, click Download License.
i had tried to downloading these license but says it is already installed. the songs i have are from mp3, MWA, wma etc.....
Q: What can i do to open these songs? thanksSounds like in the settings of your ripping it is set to rip with protection. You need to set this to not protect the files. If you need help with that just ask. Have you tried to download the licence with another browser like firefox?I need INSTRUCTION on how to do this step by step? On how to go and unset those files that are protected to not protected?
I'm just learning here,
Thanks in advance!Do you buy Original OS from Window? Because if you bought original OS, you will not find download license. And you can update to high version from WMP. Have you ever tried to download license? and what is the result? What amp do you have? It will be mostly the same for every version wmp 11 right click on the bar where now playing is go to tools>options go to the rip music tab untick the COPY protect music
It should be the same like for wmp9 just go to the tools>options menu this is all it says every time i fnish downloading it : Error: your Netscape browser does not have "Microsoft® Windows Media Services" plug-ins installed.Have you tried firefoxthat's what i use firefox and windows internet explorer, can't seem to get it.Have you tried installing this? http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/forpros/drm/pluwiz.aspxthe DRM for windows Media Player just came out as an Update if you have it .
