| Answer» Salt was a basic daily life item on which the britishers imposed a tax.Now gandhi saw this as an oppurtunity to unite all the indians he decided to break the rule and make salt.He came upon an decision that he would march from the sabarmati ashram to dandi\'s sea shore and make salt there.In this march the womens participataion was more because the salt was referred to as a womens kitchen department?.at the very beggining there was a less participation but as the march went formard there was a mass public participating in it.Thanku,Regards. | |
