Principal: (walking towards the window and looking outside and then turning his head towards Martha) Why won’t your grandfather pay? He has a 200-acre ranch! Martha: He told me that if I paid for the scholarship jacket it would no more be a scholarship jacket. It would be a jacket bought with a price. You may give the Jacket to Joann.” (She walks towards the door to go out.) Principal: Martha, wait! We would make an exception and give you the Jacket. Martha: (Tears of joy rolling out of her eyes) Thank you, Sir! Thank you very much!
