Answer» tion:The elements of S BLOCK and P block except 18th GROUP elements are called as Representative elements because they are FOUND in nature abundantly .It can be said because these elements are the most parts of compounds found in nature .We don't count 18th group elements because they are free-living elements. they are the elements of zero group in S block HYDROGEN inch found which is the part of WATER and water is found everywhere on the earth.hence we can say the elements of S block and P block are the Representative elements . |
