Anne had many friends and a good family. But she had no person to whom she could share all her secrets and her changes in her life. On her 13th birthday, she got a diary as a gift and she named it as Kitty. She used to write every secret on its pages as the secrets would not expose to others. In the Annexe, Anne used to write all her feelings that she couldn\'t share with other members of Annexe. She had got a best friend in her life as a diary "Kitty".
