Answer» Y:- Set apparatus as shown in figure in class 10 ncert science text page 19 fig.2.1 Take about 5 ML of dilute sulphuric acid in a test TUBE and add few pieces of zinc granules into it OBSERVATION:- We can observes some gas evolved. allow the gas to pass through soap solution .we saw some bubbles are formed in the soap solution . Take a burning candle near a gas filled BUBBLE.Then the bubble will BURN with a pop sound. From this activity we can CONCLUDE that acid react with metal to give salt hydrogen gas. acid+metal⇒salt+hydrogen gas |
