Let MARK is obtained by SHYAM = x
∴ mark is obtained by Ram = x + 24

ALSO mark of Ram 65% of the SUM of marks obtained by them.
∴ 65 % = Ram's mark/(Ram's mark + Shyam's mark) × 100
⇒65 = (x + 24)/(x + 24 + x) × 100
⇒65 = (x + 24)/(2x + 24) × 100
⇒13(2x + 24) = 20(x + 24)
⇒26x + 312 = 20x + 480
⇒26x - 20x = 480 - 312
⇒6x = 168
⇒x = 28

Hence, mark is obtained by Shyam = x = 28
Make is obtained by Ram = x + 24 = 28 + 24 = 52
