Answer» A clear cloudless day time sky is blue because molecules in the air scatter blue light from the sun more than they scatter red light when we look towards tha sun at sunset we see red and arrange callous because the blue light has been scattered out and away from the line of sight. During the day time sky appears blue.this is because the size of the particles in atmosphere is smaller than the wave length of visible light, so they are more effective in scattering the light of shorter wavelengths ( blue end of spectrum) |
