Answer» Solution : i) No, the production does not meet consumption of India. ii) During 2004 to 2014 the consumption rate is highest. iii) Running rate of vehicles is increasing enormously due to increase in population but the production is not increasing as per the consumption. iv) Every one can HELP CONSERVE fossil fuels by using them carefully. 1) Turn off lights and other electronics, when we are not using them. 2) Purchase energy - efficient appliances. 3) Walk, ride a bicycle and use public transport whenever possible. 4) It is better to prefer public transport system LIKE bus or train instead of travelled in PERSONAL vehicles. 5) MINIMISE fuel wasted in idling. 6) Practice eco - friendly methods. 7) Don't use car when you are travelling alone.
