Iv = Ev/R

so, Iv = 220/100 = 2.2A

(b) power in complete cycle is GIVEN by

here, P denotes the power, \phi denotes angle made by CYCLING of a.c circuit.
for full cycle , \phi=0^{\circ}
so, P = 220 × 2.2 × cos0° W
P = 484 W
