Answer» In the poem " A Photograph" written by Shirley Toulson, the poet remembers her mother. The photograph is of her mother's childhood. The poet's mother was only twelve when this photograph was clicked along with her cousins. The poet becomes nostalgic when she writes about her mother's feelings. When her mother used to see the photograph, she used to laugh on how they were dressed for the beach as kids. The mother misses her childhood but at the same time realises that the past can never come back. |
