Pls answer Q5 (a) (b) (c) with proper steps

Answer»
\text{5. A = $x^2 + 4$}\\ \\ \text{B = $y^2 - 4$}
____________________________

a. \\ A^2 = (x^2 + 4)^2 \\ \\ ={ ( {x}^{2} ) }^{2} + 2 \times {x}^{2} \times 4 + {(4)}^{2} \\ \\ = {x}^{4} + 8 {x}^{2} + 16
____________________________

b. \\ B^2 = (y^2 - 4)^2 \\ \\ ={ ( {y}^{2} ) }^{2} - 2 \times {y}^{2} \times 4 + {(4)}^{2} \\ \\ = {y}^{4} -8 {y}^{2} + 16
_________________________

c. \\ (A + B)^2 \\ \\ = (x^2 + 4 + y^2 - 4)^2 \\ \\ = (x^2 + y^2)^2\\ \\ ={ ( {x}^{2} ) }^{2} - 2 \times {x}^{2} \times y^2 + {(y^2)}^{2} \\ \\ = {x}^{4} -2 x^2 {y}^{2} + y^4
