Answer» Acceleration is the change in VELOCITY. as velocity is a VECTOR QUANTITY, it will change if its magnitude, DIRECTION or both are changed. in uniform CIRCULAR motion, the speed is constant but its direction is changing continuously as it is moving in circle. as velocity is changing,it produces acceleration, that is called angular acceleration.
