Hey mate here is your answer.....X^2 +y^2 -2x +4y +5=0=>x^2-2x +1+y^2+4y+4=0=>(x-1)^2+(y+2)^2=0Now we KNOW that if the sum of two perfect squares is 0 , then they are INDIVIDUALLY 0.so, x-1=0 =>x=1 And, y+2=0 =>y=-2.so, the value of x is 1 and that of y is -2.Hope it will help you....plz mark as the brainliest....
