Initial velocity = 0

Change in velocity in first two seconds
V=2*2= 4 m/s

Change in velocity fron 4th to FIFTH second
V'= -4*1= -4 m/s

Therefore velocity after 5TH second is zero
i.e. particle again comes at rest.


Displacement covered in first two seconds = 4 m

Displacement covered in next two seconds =8 m

Displacement covered in next second= -4 m

net Displacement = 4 + 8 -4 =8 m
