1) 1/2( X1(y2-y3) + X2(y3-y1)+x3(y1-y2)

= 1/2 (1(-1-5) +4(5-2)+-2(2+1)

= 1/2(-12+12)

= 0

hence proved that the PTS are COLLINEAR

bcz the collinear are those pts which do not make triangles so on FINDING the area of triangle the area we get is 0 which simply gives us result that these are collinear pts

2) these are parallel LINES

on finding its slope we get (-1/2)

and also on finding the slope of second equation the slope also come(-1/2)

as we know the parallel lines have the same slope so these are parallel lines

3)as the relation between the slope of two perpendicular lines are (m1=1/-m2)

so from this relation U will get the 'a'

-2/3=-1/-3)a

a=-2
