#Physics Newtons only: Discuss the motion of the particle in every interval (whether it is speeding up or slowing down) [Do it using slope and find acceleration]

Answer» SEE the explanationExplanation:t :(0-2): speeding upt :(2-6): CONSTANT speedt :(6-10): slowing downt :(10-12): speeding upacceleration (a) = slope of velocity vs time grapht :(0-2): a= (10-0)/(2-0) = 5 unitt :(2-6): a= (10-10)/(6-2) = 0 unitt :(6-10): a= {(-10)-10}/(10-6) = -5 unitt :(10-12): a= {0-(-10)}/(12-8) = 2.5 unit. When a is <0 deceleration occurs hence velocity decrease with time and when a is > 0 ACCELERATION occurs which lead to increase in velocity with time. When a=0 the velocity is not changing with time.Mark it brainliest if it helped you.Follow me!Peace.Extra tip:The slope is calculated as tan theta, which is (chane in vertical ordinate/change in horizontal coordinate) If you just wanna know weather the partical is under acceleration or deceleration then just see weather by extending the line can you reach 1st or 3rd quadrant. If so then the slope will always be +ve INDICATING acceleration. If by extending the line it goes in 2nd or 4th quadrant then the slope will be -ve indicating deceleration. The reason tip 2 works is that value of tan theta (which is slope) is +ve in 1st and 3rd quadrant and -ve in 2nd and 4th.
