To FIND that given value of X is root or zero of

polynomial or not,we MUST put that value in

polynomial,if it becomes zero,then given value

of x is root of polynomial.

x =  \frac{ - 3}{2}  \\ now \: put \\ <klux>P</klux>(x) = 5x - \pi \\ p( \frac{ - 3}{2} ) = 0 \\  = 5( -  \frac{3}{2} ) - \pi \\  =   -  \frac{15}{2}  - \pi \\  =  \frac{ - 15 - 2\pi}{2} \:  \:  is \:  \: not \: equal \: to \: zero. \\  \\
so,
x =  \frac{ - 3}{2}
is not a zero of p(x).
