Leat us assume a and b are the working "capacity " or "efficiency" of P and Q respectively .
Let 'W' denote that WORK which is done by P in 18 DAYS and by Q in 15 days .
So
W= a*18. ------(1)
W= b*15 -------(2)
so a & b are related as :: 15 *b=18*a
now ,since q worked for 10 days so
-------. b*10= x. (let us assume)
so W-x= a*? and we have to find "?"
so put W=15 *b and x =10*b and a=(15/18)*b in above equation and you will get:

15*b - 10*b= (15/18)*b. * "?"

so "?" =. 6.
6 is the answer.
