Answer» (i)In a deck, there are 26 red cards(including two red kings). There are 2 red kings and 2 black kings.so total number of cards= 26+2=28so the probability of drawing a red or a king is 28/52=7/13 (ii) There are 6 face cards in red- the king, queen and jack of hearts and diamonds. So, the probability is 6/52=3/26 (iii) the probability of drawing 2 of spades is 1/52 (iv) There are two 10 cards in black suit: 10 of spades and 10 of clubs. So the probability is 2/52=1/26 |
