Dimensions of the room :

LENGTH = 4m

breadth = 2m

height = 3m

Dimensions of 1 BRICK : 25cm × 10cm × 5cm

To find :-

Number of bricks required to MAKE the room.

Let us convert meters to centimeters.

We know that, 1m = 100cm.

=> 4m = 400cm

=> 2m = 200cm

=> 3m = 300cm

Number of bricks required = \dfrac{Volume\: of \:room}{Volume\:of\: one\: brick}

Volume = Length × Breadth × Height

Therefore,

Volume of room = 400cm × 200cm × 300cm

Volume = 24000000cm³

Volume of 1 brick = 25cm × 10cm × 5cm

Volume 1 brick = 1250cm³

Hence number of bricks required = \dfrac{24000000}{1250}

Number of bricks required = 19200
