| Answer» Biogas is a mixture of 50 to 70% methane, 30 to 40% carbon dioxide, 5 to 10 % hydrogen, 1 to 2% nitrogen and traces of hydrogen sulphide. Biogas gives a flame temperature upto 8000C and burns with clear blue flame without smoke. Calorific value of gas is nearly 5,650 kcal/m3. Residue is very high quality manure for plants. | |
