1.

Most longest food chain?

Answer»

Answer:

MRK brainliesT

Explanation:

I WOULD be very surprised to find an ecology with 10 trophic levels. Generally they're limited to 4-5 levels, due to energy losses at each jump; COMMONLY each trophic level above autotrophs only has ~10% of the biomass of the next LOWER one.

So in an ecology with 10 trophic levels, the keystone predator would have only ten billionth the biomass of the primary producers like algae or plants.

The longest chains are found in the oceans, I guess because the oldest life forms are there getting more EFFICIENT for a longer time.
