Answer» Two advantages of the following – (i) Hydroponics : (a) No soil required for growing the plants hence useful in infertile and dry soil. (b) Plants are free from soil pathogens and weeds. (ii) Ttirgidity to plants: (a) Provides mechanical supports to non-woody parts of the plant. (b) Regulates the opening and closing of the stomata. (iii) Cross-pollination: (a) New varieties with useful characters are produced. (b) Results in healthy and stronger offsprings. |
