Answer» Answer: conduction, convection, and radiation. conduction :- the process in which heat is transferred from one place to another place without ACTUAL movement of particles of the MEDIUM. ex :- when we heat one end of rod, the molecules at the hot get thermally agitated and transfer a part of their ENERGY to the nearly molecules etc and so on. so the other end of the rod also gets heated by conduction. convection :- the process in which heat is transferred from one place to another place by the actual movement of the particles of the medium. ex :- sea breezes and TRADE winds. radiation :- the process in which heat is transferred from one place to another place without help of any material medium is CALLED radiation. ex :- heat from the sun comes to earth by radiation. any other doubts in physics then ask me... |
