Answer» ting POINT of CUCL is LESS than NaCl because the difference between electronegativities of Na and Cl is greater than that of Cu and Cl. So the bond between Na and Cl will be more ionic and greater ENERGY will be required to break the bond. Thus, CuCl has a lesser mp than NaCl.Hope it helps :) |
