f(3) = (3)² = 9 at x = 3 ..and at x = 3+ , f(x) = 3*3 = 9

so, f(x) is continuous and it is a function

but g(2) at x = 2 is (2)² = 4... and at x=2+ , it is 3*2 = 6

so, 6≠4... so, it is not a function..
