Answer» REMAINDER THEOREM -> Let p(X) be any polynomial of degree greater than or equal to 1 and (x-a) is a LINEAR polynomial , when DIVIDED by (x-a) the remainder is p(a). Ex. x^2 - 1 ÷ x - 1 p (x) = x^2 -1 the remainder is p (1) = 1^2 -1 p (1) = 0 NOTE :- We find ZERO of divisor and put the value of variable in dividend to find the remainder. |
