I was glad to learn that there was a marriage proposal for brother Anand from the Gupta family. As desired by you I contacted the Guptas at their residence today morning. Here are my personal impressions about the girl and her family. She is fair complexioned, sweet natured and sober. She is a post-graduate from Punjab University, Chandigarh. She is cultured, refined and well versed in Household affairs. I think she will be an ideal match for brother Anand. The family, too, is civilized and well behaved. It is fairly modern. Besides, I did not notice any sign of artificial politeness or ostentation in them. On the whole, I was well impressed about the family. Regards to dear mother.
