Law of refraction and reflection

Answer» 2nd law of reflection is angle of incidence is equal to angle of reflection
1st law of reflection is , the incident ray , the normal and the reflected ray all lies in the same plane at the point of incidence
2nd law of refraction is the ratio of sin of angle of incidence to sin of angle of refraction is constant for a given pair of media.
1st law of refraction is , the incident ray , the normal and the refracted ray all lies in the same plane at the point of incidence.
The laws of reflection of light.
When a ray of light is incident on a mirror, it gets reflected in accordance with the following laws of reflection:\xa0First law: The incident ray, the reflected ray and the normal at the point of incidence all three, lie in the same plane.\xa0Second law: The angle of incidence (i) is equal to the angle of reflection (r).i.e., ∠i = ∠r.\xa0\xa0Fig.\xa0Reflection in a plane mirror\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0Laws of refraction states that:(1) The incident ray, the refracted ray and the normal to the interface of two media at the point of incidence all lie in\xa0the same plane.(2) For the light of a given color and for\xa0given pair of media, the ratio of the sine of the angle of incidence to the sine of the angle of refraction is constant. This is also known as Snell\'s Law.Mathematically it can be written as:Here,\xa0\xa0is the refractive index of medium B with respect to medium A.Refractive index of a medium with respect to the vacuum is known as the absolute refractive index.c is the speed of light in vacuum and c is the speed of light in medium B.
