and since AFC is congruent triangle to AFB Then by CPCT angle AFC=AFB=120 as required

and finally since AE and BD are medians  they DIVIDE each other in ratio 2:1 and AE^2=8^2 - 4^2=48

hence AE=4root(3)

and AF= 2/3 of 4root(3) = 8/root(3) your answer
