1.

________is the smallest composite number.

Answer»

A composite NUMBER is a number which has more than 2 factors

Say for example LET us now consider the number 2, it has only two factors they are 1 and 2 itself and thus its a PRIME number. (A number which has only two factors)

Now let us consider the number 3 which is again a prime number.

Now further moving on to the next number that is 4 which has 1,2 and 4 as factors.

Through this we can CONCLUDE that 4 is the smallest composite number. since it has more than two factors.

Hope its useful..!!
