Despite all hardships or circumstances, life goes on. The Nazis slaughtered a large number of Jews. They tried to exterminate the whole population of the Jews. The survivors left their homeland and took shelter in other countries.

The following points throw light on their lives after the holocaust:

1. The survivors always feel the pain of leaving their own country.
2. They always miss their family members, relatives, and friends lost in the holocaust.
3. They have to live in a mixed culture, the culture of a foreign land (where they have taken shelter) and that of their own country.

सारी कठिनाईयों या परिस्थितियों के बावजूद भी जिन्दगी चलती रहती है। नाजियों ने बड़ी संख्या में यहूदियों को मारा। उन्होंने यहूदियों की सारी जनसंख्या को समाप्त करने का प्रयास किया। जो लोग बच गये थे उन्होंने अपनी मातृभूमि को (स्वयं का देश) छोड़ दिया और दूसरे देशों में शरण ले ली।

निम्नलिखित बिन्दु जनसंहार के बाद के उनके जीवन पर प्रकाश डालते हैं।

1. जीवित बचे लोग अपने देश को छोड़ने का दर्द हमेशा महसूस करते हैं।
2. उनके परिवार के लोग, रिश्तेदार, मित्र जो भी इस जनसंहार में मारे गये थे, उन्हें वे हमेशा याद करते हैं।
3. उन्हें एक मिश्रित संस्कृति में रहना पड़ रहा है- विदेशी संस्कृति (जिस देश में उन्होंने शरण ली) और उनके स्वयं के देश की संस्कृति का मिश्रण।
