1.

in the given triangle pqr ,angle QPR is equal to 90 PQ is equal to 24 cm is equal to 26 cm in triangle pqr ,angle pqr is equal to 90 and PR is equal to 8 cm find pk

Answer»

In the right triangle PQR, by applying Pythagoras theorem we get :

PR = \sqrt{ {26}^{2} -  {24}^{2} \: } cm = 10 cm

Similarly, In right angled PKR, by applying Pythagoras theorem we GET :

PR² = PK² + KR²

Or, PK² = PR² - KR²

Or, PK² = 10² - 8²

Or, PK² = 36

Or, PK² = 6²

Or, PK = 6

THUS, WE CAN SAY THE LENGTH OF PK IS 6 cm.
