II. 2Y2 – 94Y + 560 = 0

⇒ Y2 – 40Y – 7Y + 280 = 0      ----(∵ taking 2 as common)

⇒ Y(Y – 40) – 7(Y – 40) = 0

⇒ (Y – 7)(Y – 40) = 0
