In the given figure, if ∠1 + ∠2 = 100°, then find the measure of ∠4.

∠1 + ∠2 = 100° (given)

But ∠1 = ∠2 (vertically opposite angles)

Also ∠2 + ∠4 = 180° (linear pair)
