k.E=12*10^-20j

work function=T.E - K.E

work function=56*10^-20 - 12*10^-20

work function=10^-20(56 - 12)

work function=44*10^-20

work function =4.4*10^-19j

work function = it is define as the the amount of energy give to the metal SURFACE to eject a electron on

its surface .
