=60%×640
=384
So,no. of boys failed=640-384
=256

Total no. of GIRLS=360
No. of girls passed=80%
=80%×360
=288
So,no. of girls failed=360-288
=72

Now,total no. of CANDIDATES failed=256+72
=328
So,their percentage=328÷1000×100
=165÷5%
=32.8%
