ANSWER:: Mass of the Bugghi , m₁ = 200 kg Velocity of Bugghi , v₁ = 10 km/hr Mass of BOY , m₂ = 2.5 kg Velocity of boy , v₂ = 4 km/hr If we TAKE Buggie and boy as SYSTEM then TOTAL momentum before the process of sitting will remain constant after the process of sitting. m₁v₁ = m₂v₂ = (m₁+m₂) v 200 x 10 + 25 x 4 = (200+25) v v = 2100/225 = 28/3 km/hr = 9.3 km/hr Hope it helps! |
