so, 20% are old in society

26000 childrens = 26%y
26%y = 26000
26y/100 = 26000
y = (26000 × 100)/26
y = 1,00,000
so total no of people in society, y = 1,00,000

no of old in society = 20% of 1,00,000 = 20,000
