Answer» Answer: Heya............❤✌since,AB||ED and AE is the transversal ANGEL A + angel E =180°{SUM of interior angles on the same side of transversal} Given, angle B= 142°,angle C=3x and angle D= 2x we know that sum of angles in a Pentagon=540° hence,angle A,+ angle B + angle C + angle D + angle E = 450° =>180°+142°+3x+2x= 540° =>322°+ 5x= 540° =>5x= 540°-322°=218° =>x=218/5 =>x = 43.6° Hope it’s helpful...... ☺ |
