Answer» Bacteria is USED in the pre-tanning processes ,i.e, soaking, dehairing, bating and degreasing. And most IMPORTANT it produces PROTEOLYTIC ENZYMES known as PROTEASES which are extracted and used in dehairing, soaking and bating processes which is required to produce leather. |
