a^2-3a+2=0
Now USE the FACTORISATION METHOD of splitting the middle term...
So,
a^2 -2a-a+2=0
a(a-2)-1(a-2) =0
(a-2) and (a-1) =0
Putting both VALUES against zero.
so we will have
a-2=0 or a-1=0
so. a=2 or a=1. both can be true.
