Given that there are 10 people in the room.Therefore,here the value of n is 10.Putting values in the above formula,

No of handshakes = n×(n - 1)/2

→10(10-1)/2

→ 10(9)/2

→90/2

→45.

Therefore,there are 45 handshakes in total.
