If the sum of zeros of quadratic polynomial kx2 - 2 x -3k is equal to the twice their product find the value of k

Answer»

Hey

Here is your answer,

kx^2 - 2X - 3K = 0

Sum of zeroes = -b/a
= -(-2)/k
= 2/k

Product of zeroes = c/a
= -3k/k
= -3

Sum of zeroes = 2 x product of zeroes
2/k = 2 x (-3)
2/k = -6
k = -1/3

Hope it HELPS you!
