Solution :-

Given :-

POLYNOMIAL = ax² - 6x - 6

Product of roots = 4

So as we know in a quadratic polynomial :-

ax² + bx + c

SUM of roots

= -b/a

Product of roots

= c/a

Now in our polynomial :-

a = a

b = -6

c = -6

ALSO product of roots = 4

So

c/a = 4

→ -6/a = 4

→ 4a = -6

→ a = -6/4

→ a = -3/2

So
