If the product of two zeroes of the polynomial 3x cube+5x square -7x -27 be 3 then find the third zero.

Answer»

Given,Let p, q and r are three zeroes of 3x^3 + 5x^2 - 7x - 27

p*q = 3.......(1)

We know,Product of three zeroes of polynomial = - d/a

Then, p*q*r = - (-27)/3 = 9......(2)

Put value of p*q from eq(1) in eq(2)r = 9/3r = 3

Therefore, third zero is 3
