R = 40 cm, f = R/2 = 20 cm, v = 15 cm

1/f = 1/v + 1/u

1/u = 1/f - 1/v

1/u = 1/20 - 1/15

1/u = (3 - 4)/60

1/u = -1/60

∴ u = -60 cm : Ans

m = - v/u = -15/-60 = +1/4 : Ans
