LET @ and ß be zeroes if the polynomial 4x^2 - 8kx - 9

a = 4 , b = -8k, c = -9

@ = - ß
That MEANS, @ + ß = 0

[ We know sum of zeroes = -b/a ]

@ + ß = 0

-b/a = 0

-8k/4 = 0

-2k = 0

k = 0
